Interim Dietician
LeaderStat is seeking a motivated Interim Dietician for a 6-month engagement in the Peridot, Arizona area. The Interim Dietician provides Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) for inpatients and outpatients. The MNT includes assessment, nutrition care planning using the Nutrition Care Process Model, counseling and education, as well as implementation of special therapies, such as medical and enteral foods.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Two years of recent experience planning regular and modified diets in a health care facility
- Two years of clinical nutrition work experience with specific emphasis on providing medical nutrition therapy targeting chronic diseases and nutrition education throughout the life cycle
-Bachelor's Degree in Dietetics from an accredited college or university
- Completed a Didactic Program in Dietetics Accredited by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)
- Current registration with the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics
