This position is 100% remote; limited, to no travel is expected.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Essential duties include but are not limited to the following:
- Experience in Azure Platform Services understanding of their capabilities and limitations. Understanding of Security principles, measures, and services available in Azure.
- Ability to Design and implement disaster recovery solutions. Ability to use a wide variety of open-source technologies.
- Participate in the implementation, administration and support of Azure AD and Active Directory solutions and systems.
- Provide troubleshooting support; investigate user escalation calls, finding optimum solution for both users and the firm.
- Work in teams to solve challenging problems involving system and environment internals, provide solutions that are simple to use but can be customized to meet customer needs.
- Write or modify scripts to provision cloud resources and automate repetitive tasks wherever practical.
- Optimize existing and identify new opportunities for monitoring, logging, and management metrics to improve operational effectiveness and customer knowledge.
- Strong background in Linux/Unix and Windows Administration.
- Solid understanding of networking and core internet protocols.
- Understanding of Hybrid solutions, cloud migration techniques and experience of integrating public cloud into tradition hosting/delivery models.
- Understanding of the cloud architecture patterns and solution design principles.
- Strong understanding of different attributes for cloud application availability scalability and ability to propose optimized design for cloud.
- Knowledge in various industry standard tools related to CI CD, Containerization, Configuration Management such as Azure DevOps and Kubernetes.
- Experience in configuring monitoring different attributes and handling scale up and scale down scenarios for the application in Azure.
- Knowledge on implementing DevOps solutions integrating various tools, based on client/business requirements.
- Certification in Azure Cloud Platform is a plus.
- Good understanding on AKS is strong plus.
