We are expanding and looking for a Sales Development Representative to join our Business Development Team in Costa Mesa!
About the Business Development Team
We sell digital and community news advertising alongside the reputational equity of the most recognized local news publications in Southern California. Advertisers love that we can sell an extensive suite of digital ad solutions, stories on their businesses and much, much more. It's working, big time. Basically once they're a client, they don't need an agency because they have us.
About the Role
As a Sales Development Representative (SDR), you'll join our business development office in Costa Mesa. As part of the team, you'll support the Business Development Executives (BDE) by reaching out to local businesses across a wide range of categories, asking fact finding questions and setting up meetings for the BDEs. The team is laying the foundation for what will be the single biggest competitive advantage for Times Media Group for our clients — a partnership that helps them reach the communities we serve.

- Conduct high-volume cold calling (65+ dials per day) and emailing to access and qualify decision makers
- Refine sales messaging, prospecting and qualifying techniques

- Report directly to the Business Development Manager, who will directly support your growth in your role and career

Qualifications:
- Strong phone and personal skills
- Detail-oriented and extremely organized
- Ability to build rapport with clients
- A desire to grow professionally
- Previous experience in sales and/or account management is a plus
