JOB TITLE: Mental Health Therapist

STATUS: Regular Full-Time

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: (Job Description Available Upon Demand)

  • Implements and supports the practice mission and strategic vision within their respective departments.
  • Handles confidential information requiring professional discretion and compliance with protected health information, data integrity and security policies.
  • Proven competency conducting own Initial Diagnostic Interviews prior to starting therapeutic services.
  • Provides individual counseling services using a variety of treatment modalities.
  • Collaborates with other staff and treatment team to develop treatment plans.
  • Maintains patient case load and appropriate client records.
  • Collaborates with relevant agencies and family as needed.
  • Provides knowledge of community resources and makes appropriate referrals as needed.
  • Demonstrates critical thinking and function under stressful or emergent situations.
  • Demonstrates adaptability to changing work demands in terms of priorities that necessitate personal initiative.
  • Demonstrates excellent active listening skills, verbal, and written communication skills to effectively share knowledge with Chief Medical Officer, medical staff, patients, and their families.
  • Demonstrates competence in Continuing Medical Education (CME) activities that service to maintain, develop, or increase knowledge, skills, and professional performance.
  • Other clinical or administrative duties as assigned to meet practice needs.

QUALIFICATIONS: Master s Degree In Counseling or Social Work Required | Current Nebraska LIMHP, LMHP, LICSW or Similar License (State Registry Good Standing) Required | Knowledge of Principles Methods & Procedures For Diagnosis & Treatment of Mental Health | Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Preferred or In Process | Basic Knowledge In Billing Procedures & MH Codes Preferred | Familiar with EMR & PM Systems | Familiar with Microsoft Platforms | Proficient Keyboarding Speed

EXPERIENCE: Two years high-volume clinic setting preferred

COMPENSATION: $55,000-$65,000 revenue share models also offered
