Job Title Athletics Assistant Status Full Time FTE 1.0 Classification Title Classified Grade B Job Summary

The Athletics Assistant will provide clerical, administrative and operational support within the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics. This includes working through a variety of tasks related to organization, communication, and the College sports team events. Will be responsible for confidential and time sensitive material and should be familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.

Required Qualifications

* Associate's degree in a related field.
* Minimum of two (2) years of work experience in Athletics or a related field.
* Ability to understand and operate appropriate office equipment, including personal computers and working knowledge of department-specific software.
* Working knowledge & proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, etc.).
* Experience with website and social media upkeep.
* Skilled in conducting business financial activities to support an administrative athletics operation.
* Ability to successfully interact with students, parents, coaches, staff, faculty, and the community at large.

Preferred Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in a related field.
* Two (2) + years' work experience in an Intercollegiate Athletic Department.
* Understanding of sports rules and regulations, game procedures and eligibility compliance standards.
