Mariesha Rooks at Robert Half has an immediate opening for an Accounts Receivable Specialist. You will thrive at this growing Manufacturing company, if you are an Accounts Receivable (A/R) professional looking to join a dynamic team. This role's duties will require entering, posting and reconciling batches, researching and resolving customer A/R issues, preparing aging reports, placing billing and collection calls, maintaining cash receipts journal, and updating and reconciling sub-ledger to G/L. Key responsibilities
- Provide information as requested to shippers, customers, the sales/marketing department and other stake holders
- Process payments and compiling segments of monthly closings and annual reports in compliance with GAAP
- Contact clients to settle payment issues and establish payment plans as required
- Support, relate, and strengthen the mission, values and culture of the organization
- Carry out general accounting tasks in accordance with standard procedures
- Reconcile bank accounts, posting and balancing financial data in various ledgers
- Confirm documents and codes are correct
Requirements:
- Analytical skills in basic accounts receivable and accounting policy
- Efficient in ERP systems
- 2+ years of relevant experience in accounts receivable
- Observant, accurate and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Billing Collection experience
