Position Summary:
Works closely with internal and external customers/experts by providing support in the analysis, testing and integration of software and information systems as it relates to core systems and integration processes. Responsible for analyzing data and researching data to support the departmental core activities. Responsible for working closely with business owners across multiple cross-functional teams to deliver quality outcomes monitored and measured by the documentation tools that are supported. Provides technological expertise to the division related to data analyst efforts, system upgrades, and maintenance. Provides support with the integration of medical management care systems and software with other divisions and outside vendors. Salary range - $24.28-38.52
Qualifications:
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS Associate's Degree in Applied Science, Web Application Development, Information Technology, or Computer Science required. or Experience in Lieu of Education - Two (2) years of experience in Information Technology or data operations management. CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE REQUIREMENTS None specified EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS Two years system administration, system analyst, information technology, or data and operations management. OTHER REQUIREMENTS Ability to identify, research, analyze and develop innovative ways to streamline workflow and technical processes. Experience with integration, implementation and quality control testing of system upgrades. Must have the ability to work independently and on a team. Must possess independent planning and organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and process multiple tasks simultaneously. Must be able to troubleshoot and identify system errors and integration malfunctions, and take corrective action to maintain data integrity across all system platforms. Must have experience using SQL Server Management Studio, Remote Desktop. Must possess advanced Excel skills and the ability to maintain data using scripting via Microsoft products, Microsoft Visual Studios, and advanced SQL programming. Would prefer experience running software on the following systems: Altruista GuidingCare and Epic. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Essential Functions:
Responsible for development and maintenance of all Medical Management systems within the Population Health division.
Support the needs of other departments and external customers for Medical Management data and systems.
Participates in analysis, quality assurance testing, user acceptance testing, and integration of the organization software and information systems as it relates to Medical Management functions. Performs full end to end integrated testing for all functionality of clinical systems and their interfaces.
Participates in system/product/software upgrades as related to Medical Management.
Provides technology expertise to the department and collaborates with other departments for data collection, system upgrades, system maintenance, and system interfaces and file loads.
Functions as a liaison and resource to the IT Department related to these systems and associated software.
Installs, tests, maintains, documents, and provides technical support for system software/hardware.
Serves as a liaison between vendors, IT personnel, other application analysts, management and end users to resolve questions related to system functionality and design.
Works closely with division business owners, collaborates to establish needed system modifications, and functions as a resource for development of time saving processes or new features.
Recommends and documents procedural changes.
Assists with software product selection, evaluation, and testing.
Provides product and problem resolution support to the users and communicates this to internal/external customers, such as IT, vendor.
Successfully completes related Epic Certifications within the first 6 months of employment or as designated.
