Job Description:
Regions is seeking a Rehab Assistant to work full time in our Outpatient Rehab Clinic. This position will create and maintain a welcoming environment for all patients, visitors and staff. Provides clerical functions which include greeting patients and guests, checking-in patients, providing patient directions. Provides support to the patient treatment function of the Rehabilitation department; clinic maintenance and cleanliness, clinician support and supply management. Demonstrates the ability to work with patients of all ages, including children, adolescents, adults and geriatric patients. One year experience as a therapy aide or similar work. One year professional or technical education in physical therapy or closely related field may substitute for work experience. Current BLS certification (i.e. American Heart BLS for Healthcare Providers) required. If not currently certified, must obtain within 60 days of hire. Demonstrates at the time of employment or within 60 days of hire and every two years thereafter, competency in Basic Life Support (BLS).
