FITNESS MANAGER AT ANYTIME FITNESS

Locations: West Hartford, Glastonbury, Cromwell, Ellington, Somers, Farmington, Granby, Newington, Windsor, Southington, Wilton, and Canton, CT.

POSITION SUMMARY

An Anytime Fitness Fitness Manager (FM) is responsible for helping all members get to a healthier place. In addition to training clients themselves, the FM's ultimate responsibility is to coach the trainers to success. Coaching areas include programing, sales, and service. The FM also serves as a guidance counselor to all members of the club, educator and mentor for all training staff, and strategist for the Club Director. The FM's is responsible for managing the Member Onboarding Process which includes conducting the fitness consultation, determining the right combination of personnel and tools for each member, and managing the retention score to ensure meaningful touch points for the lifetime of the member.

While skills in training and programming are important, the FM will function more as the sales manager and leader of the fitness department. The FM must possess the knowledge, skills, and abilities to drive an overall productive and efficient fitness department for their respective club.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

• $45,000-$75,000 yearly earning potential

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee the overall production of the Club s Fitness Program




• Maintain a personal commitment to meeting the needs of members and guests




• Conduct fitness consultations and assessments




• Actively market and promote personal training to acquire new members and retain existing members




• Assist in development and implementation of club programs and events




• Participate in all staff related meetings and other required activities




• Conduct oneself as a role model by leading and promoting a healthy lifestyle




• Maintain a positive attitude at all times when working with members




• Seek opportunities for personal and professional growth




• Dress professionally, according to the current dress code standards. Anytime Fitness attire is provided.

REQUIREMENTS

• 3 Fitness Certifications including a Certified Personal Training certificate with any of the following accrediting bodies: NASM, NSCA, ACSM, WITS, AFFA, ACE, ISSA and/or a bachelor s degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology or a related field
