The shift for this opportunity is as follows: Monday & Tuesday 12pm-12 am Saturday & Sunday 8 am-4-pm Under limited supervision, the Security Guard provides security and protection of work site(s), personnel and assets at the assigned job site. Enforces safety measures, performs regular patrols of assigned premises, and responds to incidents based on established operational procedures. Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: • Conducts foot or vehicle patrols, responsible for detecting any suspicious behavior and preventing vandalism, thefts or other criminal behavior, etc. • Acknowledge and greet all guests with utmost courtesy and urgency, customer service, access control, monitor CCTV camera systems, announce visitors, distribute packages, etc. • Monitor mulitple buildings, ensure entrances/exits are secure • Provide occasional set up and tear down for events. Experience/Education/ Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: • Strong customer service skills • Monitoring and surveillance experience (is a plus) • Must be able to multitask and prioritize assigned tasks • Previous security experience is not required however is a PLUS! Working Conditions/Essential Functions: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities include close vision. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
