Responsibilities
Virginia Mason is a Level 1 stroke center. We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for our Neurosciences & Renal Transplant Progressive Care Unit. The patient population on thisunit includes but is not limited to: post-op craniotomies, complex spine surgeries, acuteischemic, hemorrhagic strokes and kidney transplants.

Responsibilities include:
- Provides high quality, skilled nursing services to assist patients to achieve optimum health and functional health status.
- Collaborate with physicians and other health care professionals
- Prepare the patient and family for discharge to home or another setting for continued care

Qualifications
Qualifications
● A current and valid Washington State Registered Nurse License is required for thisposition.● CPR certification is required every two years or as specified by the work.● Other certifications may be required for specialty areas.● One year of Acute Care, or Medical Surgical experience required.● Transplant and/or Neurology & Neurosurgery experience preferred.● Graduation from an accredited school of nursing approved by the Washington StateBoard of Nursing.
