About the job:

The Real Estate and Facilities Administrator is responsible for supporting general organization, administration and coordination of the operations of the Real Estate and Facilities Department. The Administrator will help manage and maintain leasing and project management for Danone North America's office and manufacturing portfolio. Responsibilities include management of leases and lease database; working with internal and external vendors to locate, lease and establish offices; project/construction management; and overall day to day facilities support.

Assist to build in and maintain Danone's internal lease tracking database Calypso and Excel system to monitor and communicate critical dates and present business units with options and recommendations

• Maintain property files for a portfolio of approximately 15 offices throughout North America (leases, renewals, surveys, correspondence, etc.)

• Perform financial modeling for lease options to be presented to Real Estate and location based decision makers

• Assist with Danone brokers and internal counsel on lease negotiation and review by providing market knowledge and recommendation to be included in the negotiation

• Review office layouts and construction drawings with external architects, contractors and IT. Responsible for identifying and problem solving an issues or concerns to be addressed by Danone or third party contractors.

• Project management of office openings, relocations, renovations, and closings

• Review/audit rent and operating expenses (OPEX) invoices for approximately 6 office locations. Ability to address and investigate any discrepancies found and review with Landlord to come up with a satisfactory agreement. *There may be some manufacturing sites to address as well (TBD).

• Assist with establishing office standards (i.e., square footage per person, office sizes, furniture/finish standards, etc.)

About you:


• You have a Bachelor's Degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, or other related field. And/or equivalent work experience.

• You ideally have 3 to 5 years of business/industry work experience, with experience in commercial/corporate real estate, property/facilities management, construction management and lease negotiation.

• Your team and project management and communication skills are second to none and you're comfortable leading, facilitating, and organizing diverse stakeholders to achieve business results.

• You have a strong work ethic with the ability to multi-task and problem solve.

• You are flexible to travel up to 20%.

The base compensation range for this position is $75-85K commensurate with experience.
