The Retail Associate is responsible for preparing, cooking and/or building food items while providing customer service and adhering to food safety, food handling, and sanitation procedures. Essential functions and responsibilities of the position may vary by business needs.
This position will interact on a regular basis with: Students, Faculty, Staff, Brand Partners and other Dining Partners

Responsibilities
Job Duty 1 -
Assists with the preparation and cooking of food items in accordance with standardized recipes and directions
Job Duty 2 -
Properly stores food by adhering to food safety policies and procedures and brand standards
Job Duty 3 -
Participates in the set-up, break down and sanitization of workstations and surrounding areas
Job Duty 4 -
Serves food to customers while ensuring guest satisfaction and anticipating the customers' needs
Job Duty 5 -
Replenishes food items and ensures product is stocked to appropriate levels
Job Duty 6 -
Performs cashier related duties when necessary
Job Duty 7 -
Perform other related duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
Educational Requirements
High School Diploma/GED or Vocational School Diploma
Required Experience
Two to three years of job-related experience
Preferred Qualifications
Additional Preferred Qualifications
Certifications or licenses preferred: SERVSafe
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
ABILITIES
Ability to work fast and under pressure; Must be able to lift 50lbs and can stand for more than 90% of the work shift
KNOWLEDGE
Working knowledge of retail/dining operations
SKILLS
Must be familiar with Point-of-Sale systems or willing to learn and have strong communication and problem-solving skills
