Responsibilities:

• The role of the Unit Secretary is to assist the nursing staff by providing efficient clerical and other duties under the direction of the Charge Nurse, RN, LPN and the Clinical Manager. 


• The Unit Secretary provides administrative services necessary for the care of the patient, and in support of the mission of this facility. 


• The Unit Secretary on this unit assists in providing care to the patients as directed. 


• The unit secretary in this department provides care for young adult patients age 16-39, adult patients age 40-64, and geriatric patients age 65 and older.


• Accountable for identification of risks, hazards and mitigation efforts of unsafe practices.
