Entry level basic parts experience needed for this position. We will also consider all candidates looking to make a career within the automotive parts industry. We are willing to train the proper individual looking to elevate their career within the automotive parts industry.

Responsibilities

• Assist service technicians, retail, and wholesale customers in a prompt, enthusiastic manner both over the phone and in person
• Read parts catalogs to find correct replacement parts for each individual vehicle and repair
• Prepare parts estimates for service consultants, technicians, retail, and wholesale customers
• Order, pack, ship, receive, and post parts daily
• Assist with parts inventory management through part cycle counting and record keeping
• Occasional pick-up and delivery of parts to wholesale parts customers
• Keep department and work area orderly, neat, and clean
• Maintain a superior level of customer service, quality, provide value and demonstrate integrity
• Assist to resolve customer complaints in a prompt and efficient manner
• Complete all required training courses to be a GM certified parts specialist
• Other duties as directed by management may be assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Parts counter entry level sales experience preferred
• Must be able to work on a flexible schedule that will include rotating Saturdays
• Must be a customer-oriented, initiative-taking team player
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work hard with limited supervision in a fast-paced environment
• Strong Computer & Phone Skills are necessary (Internet, Microsoft Office, Email)
• Professional appearance and work ethic is crucial
• Initiative-taking, goal oriented, and ability to work within a team environment
• Current, valid driver’s license and satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report (MVR)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
