Overview
Responsible for all activities associated with managing financial, forecasting demand, and planning inventory flows and to meet business objectives by engaging with Sales, Merchandising, Production, Customer Service, and Finance team. The primary focus will be on the Wholesale replenishment business for Lucky Brand and/or Nautica
Responsibilities
Develop effective replenishment forecast models at optimized sku level based on the latest sales trends and demand patterns with a seasonality of products.
Drive monthly meeting with Sales Planning and Finance, coming to a consensus on updated demand forecasts with risk and opportunity
Propose and implement solutions to improve forecast accuracy as well as SKU productivity
Successfully communicate forecast and inventory estimations to management with relevant KPI metrics
Address demand related issues in a timely and effective manner
Monitor and report on important changes in sales forecasts, budgets, and business strategies
Conduct monthly maintenance of demand forecasts, inventory flows, and buy projections
Manage and mentor Associate Planner
Qualifications
5+ years' experience in demand and inventory planning required
A bachelor's degree required or equivalent combination of education and related experience
Self-driven and highly motivated with a strong attention to accuracy and details
Strong mathematical and statistical knowledge
Capability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work effectively within a team and build positive relationships cross-functionally
Proficient in Microstrategy; Demand Planning Software i.e. 7th Online; Logility and highly developed
Excel skills.
