Senior Director of Outsourcing Services - Remote

We are seeking a Senior Director of Outsourcing Services to provide strategic procurement leadership for all goods for resale that are outsourced on behalf of manufacturing platforms that support RRD clients. Primary categories include outsourced Commercial Print, Envelopes, Labels, Forms, Offline Finishing and Mailing, Custom Packaging and Promotional/NonPrint.

This role will lead a team of 2 Category Directors, 6-8 Category Managers plus our Manager of Supplier Diversity that work closely with business stakeholders across RRD to understand business needs and develop/execute sourcing strategies to reduce total cost of ownership by leveraging world-class negotiation skills, tools and processes. Our Supplier Diversity mission is to enhance our supply chain by proactively seeking, building relationships with, developing and buying from certified diverse suppliers.

Responsibilities:

Lead Teams to:

• Partner with key stakeholders and senior leadership to understand strategic direction, supply requirements, business objectives and priorities in order to develop and execute effective sourcing and demand management strategies
• Achieve business requirements while effectively capturing value (ie cost savings, risk mitigation, cost avoidance, process improvements, supplier consolidation)
• Develop and sustain strategic relationships with key suppliers
• Evaluate supplier core competencies and competitive positioning
• In-depth understanding of best-in-class procurement practices including extensive end-to-end experience in Sourcing processes, Negotiations, Supplier Analysis, Industry Analysis and RFx expertise
• Negotiate appropriate supplier agreements with Key Performance Indicators (KPI), Service Level Agreements (SLA) and Continuous Improvement efficiencies

Required Skills

• Exemplary negotiation skills in a robust and large corporate procurement environment
• Demonstrated ability to build strategic partnerships across organization and with vendors at the highest levels
• Accomplished in holding a team accountable to achieve measurable results

Required Experience

• 10+ years of category management/strategic sourcing experience with a minimum of 5 years category experience in Outsourcing services and a minimum of 5 years managing others
• Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Finance, Business Administration or equivalent; MBA preferred
• Project management experience required
• Able to travel up to 20% required
