Math Teacher – Small, established, a charter school with a credit recovery mission in the west valley is seeking a highly qualified, extremely motivated, energetic Math teacher to serve students in grades 9-12. Applicants must hold a valid fingerprint clearance card and be highly qualified.
The ideal candidate must have:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution, advanced degree, or additional coursework preferred.
- Certification with appropriate endorsements as required.
- Two years of educational experience in a Title I school preferred.
- Experience with Galileo
- Experience with Edgenuity
- Experience administering state testing.
- Experience and proficiency using instructional technology including computers, interactive whiteboards, Microsoft Office Suite and other basic office equipment.
- Must be able to build rapport with teachers and students of all ability levels/experience/personalities.
Responsibilities:
Instruct students, create lesson plans, assign and correct homework, manage students in the classroom (when in-person learning becomes possible-through a hybrid approach), communicate with parents and help students prepare for standardized testing.
