Staff Accountant

We are currently seeking a Staff Accountant to join our team. The Staff Accountant is responsible for timely and accurate financial reporting. Including but not limited to, working with Accounting staff, Property management, and development staff on miscellaneous projects and preparing various account reconciliations and analysis.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Track Daily transactions and ensure their accuracy
• Reconciling bank, credit card accounts and intercompany accounts
• Assist with Financial Statement review
• Assist with budget planning and preparation
• Balance sheet accounts reconciliations
• Prepare Journal Entries relating to amortization, depreciation, and accruals
• Assist with weekly Accounts Payable check runs
• Assist with month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing
• Prepare work papers for Property Tax returns
• Gain general understanding of property management software
• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting

Proficiency in Excel

Demonstrate good judgment; strong interpersonal skills; problem solving skills, ability to handle Multiple tasks; self-motivated; critical thinker, well organized.'
