Job Description

Manages the warehouse management system (WMS) functionality and business analytics. Our WMS system is called Camelot.

WMS System

● Manages all aspects of the WMS ticketing system, including assigning, tracking, escalating, and resolving tickets

● Serves as the focal point, superuser, and subject matter expert for all users and for Camelot

● Provide first-tier support to the warehouse operations team

● Manages user setup

● Interfaces with the Customer to identify and resolve systems issues and maximize productivity.

● Fully comprehends warehouse activities and dependencies to design and implement warehouse processes and workflows.

● Interfaces with the Operations Team to review operating procedures and maximize system efficiencies.

● Develops and executes test and project plans

● Ensures reasonable uptime

● Serves as lead for implementations and modifications

● Creates and implements workflows and process improvements

● Prepares accurate time estimates for projects and manages tasks to meet deadlines.

● Understands the database structure and is able to perform advanced configuration

● Coordinates technical support for the site or network operations and systems

Business Analytics

● Coordinates and conducts (as applicable) the collection and analysis of systems and operational data.

● Provides recommendations to improve the efficiency of operations.

● Investigates discrepancies and assists in the design of procedures to reduce/eliminate site impact.

● Possesses advanced knowledge of SQL

○ Writes advanced queries to include the use of sub-queries

○ Performs basic query optimization, indexing, and pivoting

○ Possesses advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel

○ Uses advanced functionality (e.g., HLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Arrays)

○ Records macros and manipulates VBA code

● Identifies requirements, creates, runs, and manipulates site management and/or customer reports.

● Identifies requirements, develops, and implements analytical tools that identify areas for improving service levels, reducing costs, and enhancing operations.

Required Education and Experience

● Bachelor’s degree in IT similar field or equivalent experience preferred

● 4+ years of transportation or logistics experience., required

● 4+ years of experience in a similar role required
