The Director of Cardiovascular Services assumes the role of a leader in planning, directing, and managing the Accredited Cardiac Cath Lab; Cardio/Pulmonary Rehabilitation, Respiratory Therapy, Cardio Pulmonary Diagnostics: and staff to ensure high-quality quality service. The successful incumbent will have the ability to assess a variety of complex situations and determine the most effective means to resolve concerns. Leadership skills in decision making, problem-solving, and interpersonal relations are involved in the daily contracts of working with department directors, physicians, staff, visitors, and vendors. Is responsible for setting the climate for cooperation between co-workers and shifts for a smooth-running operation. Requires judgment/action that could impact the patient's outcome. This is a working-director position. Must be able to jump in as a nurse and take care of patients as required by business needs. ABOUT US: 75-bed facility, you're more than just an employee; you're part of our family. The community population is approximately 35,000. We are located at the base of the beautiful Ruby Mountains, elevation level 5,000. This high desert community experiences four mild annual seasons. Winter months bring average high temperatures in the 30's and lows averaging about 10 degrees. Spring and fall months bring warmer temperatures accompanied by cool nights. The dry summer months bring average high temperatures around 90.
