Department Overview The Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Services department has locations on the Minneapolis and St. Paul campuses. They provide comprehensive evaluation and rehabilitation management services relating to congenital or acquired conditions that may lead to physical cognitive impairment. Patients receive help to achieve or regain functional potential in areas such as mobility, communication, and self-care. All care is coordinated with the patients primary care provider. Position Summary Sign On Bonus Eligible Responsible for the evaluation and provision of therapy services to the patient population identified by their specialty. Responsible for the coordination of care for these children between Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Rehab Services and their care providers in the specialty area. Provides care within a multidisciplinary team including outpatient, inpatient and community settings. Provides education and support to the child and family throughout treatment. Promotes evidence based practice, incorporating into clinical practice and research effort. Participates and leads research process in the area of specialty including data collection, documentation, and assessment of standards of care.
