Spokane Eye Surgery Center (part of Spokane Eye Clinic) is seeking a part-time Medical Registration Team Member
The ideal candidate will have previous experience admitting patients, verifying insurance, collecting payments answering phones, verifying accuracy of completed patient documents and prepping charts. Should have a good working knowledge of a medical practice management system (Nextgen preferred). The job description is attached. This role will work 3 day/6 hours per day. The base work schedule (approximately 18-20 hours a week) is below although flexibility is needed to help cover vacations and may be adjusted as workload shifts. Benefits include vision exam and optical allowance, prorated holiday pay and prorated vacation time. Part-time staff earn sick leave as well.
Schedule:
- Monday 9am – 3 pm
- Wednesday 9am – 3 pm
- Thursday 11:30 am - close (approx. 5:30 pm)
Minimum requirement: High School Diploma (or GED), Type 40 wpm
Per Governor Inslee’s Proclamation 21-14.5 , employees of healthcare institutions must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 unless a medical or religious exemption is approved. Being fully vaccinated means that an individual is at least two weeks past their final dose of an authorized COVID-19 vaccine regimen. As a condition of employment, newly hired employees will be required to provide proof of their COVID-19 vaccination or qualify and be approved for an exemption.
Wage: $17.00 to DOE
