Job Description



What We Do:
The Customer Education team exists to help our customers achieve excellence within their Payscale products. We provide them the tools, resources and knowledge for them to be successful.


What You Do:
As a Product Training Specialist you spend your days teaching our customers about our products and about compensation. You deliver this knowledge through multiple avenues. You collaborate with your peers to identify and develop the most innovate ways to enhance customer education.


Day-in-the-Life:
As a Product Training Specialist, a typical day may include the following…


  • Create and deliver high quality and engaging live and recorded training sessions to new and existing customers

  • Write scripts and record on-demand customer training videos

  • Perform content maintenance on courses and customer facing material

  • Stay up to date with current customer training, product, and compensation trends

  • Develop and run hands-on training workshops

  • Provide our customers with learning experiences that encourage adoption and optimization of our products

  • Collaborate with internal partners to gather content feedback to improve our customer training program

  • Partner with our Product Training Manager to review analytics and metrics to understand training program status


First Year in Role:

  • Month 3: You will be up and running with the knowledge of our training program and will be actively learning the ins and outs of our products. You will have started to learn scripts and deliver webinars to customers. Have an understanding of which internal partners will help you in your day-to-day.

  • Month 6: Within 6 months you will have a good understanding of our products and be able to confidently deliver some of our webinars on your own while managing Q&A. You will be continuously learning about our products, our customers, and compensation.

  • Month 12: By month 12 you will be able to confidently deliver any of our webinars. You will be able to answer nearly all questions that come in during a live session. You will be regularly adding education content to our content library and will have a full understanding of how you can drive product adoption and customer engagement.



Qualifications



Experience:


  • Bachelors degree preferred

  • Customer facing experience required and training experience preferred


Skills:


  • Excellent communication skills

  • Customer-first mentality

  • Strong technical aptitude-ability to quickly learn new concepts and tools

  • Desire and ability to innovate and improve upon current processes
