Must be able to : Code a variety of accounts across all facilitiesWork together as a team, in shared worklistsCode a wide variety of accountsPosition Requirements Include : 3+ years of experience providing coding services for a broad range of hospital and acute care facilitiesSolid CPT skills in a variety of encounters / surgery typesWorking knowledge of PCS coding fundamentalsA CCS or CPC or RHIT or RHIA Certification in an active status with AHIMA or AAPCExperience addressing NCCI edits and applying appropriate modifiersMust take 2 coding proficiency tests, that will cover ICD-10 dx coding, CPT, and ICD-10 PCS
