Digital Partnership Coordinator

Background and Purpose
We are seeking a digital media advertising sales representative to develop and grow partnerships with current and new advertisers. Our client is transforming its news outlet to digital channels and therefore is seeking applicants with deep experience in the digital advertising arena. They are planning for advertising sales, sponsorships, and brand/content partnerships and seeking candidates who can creatively develop and oversee targeted programs for their clients.
You should be skilled in building relationships; developing a point of view on how to add value for advertisers; selling digital ad sales agreements and sponsorships; providing analytics to advertisers; overseeing agreements and accounts receivable, and collaborating with the newsroom content and marketing team.
Essential Job Duties
- Lead the development of advertising revenue goals; support advertising revenue goals, and perform all sales-related activity to reach goals
- Manage and grow relationships with advertisers and partners; develop creative programs for advertisers and partners
- Communicate the overall website goals and objectives; tell stories about website visitors with data to internal and external audiences
- Communicate the value of viewers as related to advertiser/partner marketing goals
- Work collaboratively with the newsroom team and with other colleagues
- Other responsibilities as needed
Required Skills, Knowledge, Education, and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, communications, or a related field
- 7-10 years of experience in digital ad sales
- Digital and social media advertising and marketing concepts, including digital ad pricing strategies
- Video (content and online video ads)
- Programmatic advertising
- Advertising concepts related to social media and search engine marketing
- Mobile strategies
- Experience in data analysis, including using data to understand user experience and presentation of information to key audiences
- Experience in developing ‘sales’ materials
- Prefer experience with content strategy, content development, and content management
- Spanish language a plus
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Self-starter
- Detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task
