FULL_TIME
Performs basic functions of setting up, serving, clearing, resetting and cleaning dining rooms for residents and guests. Maintains serving areas, dining room and kitchen prep areas in a neat, safe and orderly manner. Interacts with residents in a variety of ways and settings, including social, recreational, diversional and/or vocational ways. Job Requirements Minimum Education Requirement : High School Diploma or GED preferred. #Minimum Experience Requirement : Knowledge of commercial kitchen practices and procedures an/or prior waitstaff experience preferred. Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English. Must be able to understand VHP and department policies and procedures and operate departmental equipment, normally obtained through on-the-job training. Effective interpersonal communication skills in order to maintain cooperative work relationships. Must be able to follow oral and written instructions. #Minimum License Requirement : Food Handlers Card from the Monongalia County Health Department within 30 days of hire. #Physical Requirements and Environmental Conditions Medium Work: Frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 25 lbs with a maximum lifting of 50 lbs.
