About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Information Software Engineer. The Identity and Access Management (IAM) Engineering organization has an exciting opportunity for an accomplished Lead Information Software Engineer who has experience as a Java developer and security background across multiple platforms to join a high caliber team. The IAM Provisioning and reconciliation Engineering team provides software engineering solutions both our internal team and external stakeholders. The successful candidate will have a well-rounded technical background and experience in SDLC, secure coding, Agile development processes and multi-domain information security principles. Areas of responsibility will include, but not limited to code and script development for applications, tools and testing, creating diagrams, flowcharts, presentations and other support documentation.

In this role, you will:
  • Lead IAM engineering team activities for highly complex projects and programs .
  • Conduct technical investigation of security related incidents and post incident digital forensics to identify causes and recommend future mitigation strategies
  • Provide security consulting on large projects for internal clients to ensure conformity with corporate information, security policy, and standards
  • Design, document, test, maintain, and provide issue resolution recommendations for highly complex security solutions related to networking, cryptography, cloud, authentication and directory services, email, internet, applications, and endpoint security
  • Review and correlate security logs
  • Utilize subject matter knowledge in industry leading security solutions and best practices to implement one or more components of information security such as availability, integrity, confidentiality, risk management, threat identification, modeling, monitoring, incident response, access management, and business continuity
  • Identify security vulnerabilities and issues, perform risk assessments, and evaluate remediation alternatives
  • Collaborate and influence all levels of professionals including managers
  • Lead a team to achieve objectives
Required Qualifications, US:
  • 5+ years of Information Security Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 3+ years of systems analysis experience
  • 5+ years of software engineering experience
  • 3+ years of Oracle/Tivoli/Sailpoint Identity Management Tools experience
Desired Qualifications:
  • 5+ Java/J2ee development experience
  • 5+ years of application/infrastructure production support and engineering experience
  • 5+ years of build-deploy automation and configuration experience within the Linux and Unix environment
  • 4+ years of scripting and automation experience
  • 5+ years of technical troubleshooting experience
  • 5+ years of experience leading multiple implementations
  • 5+ years of experience managing secure transfer protocol (NDM, SFTP, etc...)
  • 1+ years of experience in a Dev/Ops environment
  • 3+ Years of experience implementing changes, and strong knowledge of Wells Fargo change management process
  • 5+ years of experience with Web Services
  • 5+ years of experience managing Management tools connections to multiple database platforms (MongoDB, SQL Server, Oracle, DB2
  • 5+ Years Shell scripting
  • Ability to communicate confidentially and professionally
  • Experience building partnerships and consulting effectively with leadership
  • Ability to influence and collaborate at all internal organizational levels
  • Ability to influence and build relationships with LOB stakeholders, technology CIO leadership, external service providers, and architecture teams
  • Advanced scripting skills specifically around automation, log rotation, data collection, error collection and alerting
  • Experience with Agile Scrum (Daily Standup, Sprint Planning and Sprint Retrospective meetings) and Kanban
  • Exposure to Windows Servers
  • Experience with eSAR certifications
