- Assume the responsibilities for direct care of assigned patients under the supervision of a registered nurse or provider in patient care departments.
- Provides nursing services to patient and families in accordance with the LPN scope of practice as defined by the Illinois Board of Nursing.
- Provide direct care to patients under the direct supervision of an RN, mid-level provider or physician.
- Patient response to care is reported to a registered nurse/provider for evaluation, intervention and modification of the plan of care.
- Ensures documentation of care is complete and accurate.
