- Responsibilities* The Telemetry Nurse is a specially trained RN in detecting cardiac dysrhythmias and monitoring to provide specialized medical and/or surgical nursing care. Our Telemetry RN's provide, plan, and direct care to individuals and families in collaboration with the health care team. - Essential Functions:* Assessment, teaching, planning and coordinating care including discharge needs, performance of RN-specific tasks, and providing team leadership to assure that care is accomplished effectively and efficiently. Perform other duties as the scope of practice allows in order to meet patient needs efficiently and effectively and in support of cohesive team functioning.

- Cardiac complications with demonstrated understanding of appropriate interventions.
- Interpretation and use of unit-specific equipment.
