Registered Dietitian Nutritionist

Seeking a Registered Dietitian to provide nutrition counseling to adolescents and/or adults in an outpatient, private practice setting. This dietitian must be highly organized and able to work both independently and as a collaborative member of the team. Must have knowledge in motivational interviewing, enjoy working with clients, and have a passion for nutrition. Must be outgoing and have the confidence to network with others.
We are looking for an RDN with excellent counseling skills, and an outgoing and dynamic personality who can successfully partner with our clients and the community.
We are currently seeking a specialist with experience in the following areas:
- Weight Management
- GI Disorders
- Diabetes
- Heart Disease
90% of the position is to provide nutrition education, nutrition counseling, and coaching to clients via telehealth and in person at all three locations. 10% of the position is working events and conducting outreach to the community.
Position Responsibilities:
- Perform nutritional assessments and ongoing medical nutrition therapy/counseling for clients with active eating disorders in individual sessions
- Be familiar with various evidence-based treatment options, and be able to make appropriate referrals as needed
- Stay on top of relevant research and best practices
- Collaborate with an outpatient team of providers (doctors, therapists, etc.)
- Perform various administrative duties (chart notes, client & provider communication, etc.) - basic computer skills required
- Attend networking events, call offices to establish referrals, and design marketing materials
- Public speaking to groups about our services and mission
- Work with marketing team to develop social media posts and write blogs

Our philosophy is to provide education, support, and accountability for our clients to achieve long-lasting results.
Minimum qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years as a Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN)
- Experience working with clients of all ages
- Strong knowledge of counseling techniques such as motivational interviewing and cognitive behavior therapy
Preferred:
- Flexibility with scheduling
- Basic computer skills
- Highly-organized
- Can work independently
Schedule:
40 hours a week with a two week rotating schedule- every other SATURDAY.
Sample schedule:
Week 1 = Monday 10am - 7pm; Tuesday 9am - 6pm; Wednesday 10am - 7pm; Thursday 8am - 5pm; and Friday 8am - 5pm
Week 2 = Tuesday 9am - 6pm; Wednesday 10am - 7pm; Thursday 8am - 5pm; Friday 8am - 5pm; and Saturday 9am - 4pm
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $48,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
