Application Analyst III

The role:

This Application Analyst will be responsible for collaborating proactively with Application analysts to translate business and integration requirements into configurable component designs and solutions. The ideal candidate will reflect a mix of deep technical proficiency, application maintenance ownership, and the ability to work optimally with other business and technology personnel and internal customers to provide very adaptable support to this global application.

How you would contribute:

• Engage with global multi-functional business teams to analyze enhancement requests and connect with teams
• Analyze and translate business requirements from Herbalife’s Privacy and Legal business teams into technology solutions in collaboration with multi-functional and architecture teams.
• Understand sophisticated system concepts in the areas of ecommerce, Receipts, privacy, and legal regulations and compliance. Regulations such as EU GDPR, California CCPA, Brazil LGPD, Turkey LPPD, etc.
• Proficient in software development lifecycles, namely Waterfall and Agile or SAFe methodology.
• Responsible for Analysis and functional testing of application software across production support, improvements, and projects.
• Support business in user acceptance testing as needed during project releases.
• Understand the key integration points, work multi-functionally across different business processes, and understand challenges faced by business teams.
• Meet service level agreements for production support response and resolution. Solve issues, find their root cause, and any vital corrective actions to resolve them permanently
• Serve as a mentor to newer Application Analysts in the team.
• Demonstrable ability to define customer requirements, good interpersonal and facilitation skills.
• Follow documentation, software development methodology, version control and testing, and migration standards
• Implement and test disaster recovery plans.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Ability to optimally prioritize and complete tasks in a high-pressure environment
• Experience working both independently and in a team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

Skills and background required to be successful:

• Excellent Functional skills in Client-server based applications/ Web applications as well as Compliance software solutions such as OneTrust or BigID.
• Ability to write and complete SQL queries and understand PL/SQL APIs
• Solid grasp of relational databases (including tables, views, indexes, table spaces etc.)
• Solid grasp of Entity Relationship Diagrams (ERDs) and the translation of business requirements into them.
• Hands-on software fixs experience and Ability to conduct research into software-related issues and products
• Experience with change management tools and processes, including source code control, versioning, branching, defect tracking and release management.
• Ability to identify system impact for small- and large-scale initiatives
• Coordinate migrations/implementation of changes between the different Web Application environments (i.e., Development, Test, and Production).
• Experience working in a DevOps Framework.
• Self-managing: well organized, with strong multi-tasking and time management skills; maintains attention to detail and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  
  

Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in IT/Technology.
• 5+ years of experience in covering Website Application systems on Microsoft Azure/ .Net Platforms/ Oracle/ SalesForce.
• 5+ years of experience with SQL queries and understanding Microsoft Azure/ Oracle Application APIs
• 5+ years of demonstrated skill in preparation and maintenance of implementation documents, test cases, Project Lifecycle experience in a Web Applications environment is a must, including knowledge in using Microsoft Azure/ .Net Solutions.
• Understanding of cloud applications like AWS or Azure.
  
  

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in related field or equivalent experience
