Pride Health is hiring for a REMOTE HIM Representative role to support our reputable healthcare client!This is a 3-month contract-to-hire opportunity.
MUST be semi-local to Minneapolis to pick up equipment
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30A to 5PM
Duties
- This position is responsible for HIM operational functions supporting the completeness, integrity, and privacy of medical record documentation with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail. Typical functions include document scanning, responding to release of information requests, and providing support for the dictation/transcription processes.
- Preps, scans and indexes medical record documentation into the electronic medical record for inclusion into the permanent legal health record verifying presence of patient data and quality of the document for scanning.
- Provides phone and front desk support.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Must have at least 1 year of medical record indexing and cataloging experience.
