We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Supervisor-Food & Nutrition.
In this role, the successful candidate Assists in the management and execution of superior quality patient food and nutrition meal services.
Manages and develops staff including Diet Aides, Tray Assemblers, and Food Service Helpers.
Acts as ambassador for food and nutrition services to patients, staff and the multidisciplinary team, and performs service recoveries for satisfactory outcomes.Job Responsibilities:
Demonstrates knowledge of the organization's Service Standards and incorporates then into the performance of duties.Employ the principles of patient guest relations by working collaboratively to provide high quality, efficient, safe, and accessible health care services with the utmost respect and compassion.Responds to patients of all age groups in a friendly, prompt, and caring manner while maintaining confidentiality.
Partners with team members to meet the needs of the patient.
Acts as the liaison and facilitates problem-solving with all patient care units and necessary departmental subunits.Is responsible for the implementation and compliance of all hospital / depart Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify you must have a Bachelors Degree in Food Service Management, Hospitality Management, Hotel / Restaurant Management or a related field.
A minimum of four (4) years of progressive operations experience in the food service industry at the managerial level in a high volume setting.
Additional management experience may be substituted for the degree on a year for year basis.
National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation for ServSafe Protection Certification required within 6 months of hire.
Required Licenses:
