JOB SUMMARY:

Develop and implement Service Center management reporting to support risk measurement, monitor operational performance, increase productivity and support capacity planning and forecasting Lead and manage continuous process improvement for the Service Center business processes, related tools and systems. Perform data analysis (trending, forecasting, root cause analysis, etc ). Manage change projects and system enhancements implementations.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Works closely with HRSC management and others to understand and prioritize business goals and information needs, develop clear and complete business requirements, and translate into functional requirements for business systems
  • Develop and implement workforce reporting solutions for HRBPs, Businesses and COEs.
  • This position will require the ability to understand and develop end-to-end processes and reporting within the HRSC and with the COEs and the rest of the HR function.
  • Provide functional support for HRSC systems, manage and document business requirement and own User Acceptance Testing (testing coordination and approval).
  • Manage change projects , adhering to best practice project standards including: 1. Initiation: enforces the requirements of the project scope and resources 2. Planning: enforces governance and stakeholder expectations. Executes communication strategy and produces plans. 3. Execution: gathers requirements, oversees development, manages testing & remediation. Control: produces and circulates status reports & issues lists.
  • Create and enhance global Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) and Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs) and tailor to meet the needs of HRSC and wider HR function.
  • Execute test plans that will ensure business requirements have been met / create test scripts including specific test cases and expected results. Sign off on User Acceptance Testing.
  • Supports initial launch and ongoing support of HRSC
  • Provides process and system support to end users, resolving issues as well as tracking and reporting issues to management
  • Interfaces and collaborates with IT staff to maintain HR systems and keep them operational (case management, telephony, imaging, etc.)
  • Creates and documents business processes, systems specifications, diagrams and data flow
  • Analyzes and resolves process and system issues, develops workarounds, corrections and enhancements, implements and tests changes, and provides written documentation
  • Reviews and analyzes effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems and develops strategies for enhancing business process, operations, data process flow, and for improving or further leveraging systems
  • Identifies causes of poor data quality, and develops and implements solutions
  • Logs, tracks, resolves and reports process and system issues to management

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Education:

BA/BS or equivalent level of experience

Work Experience:

5+ years of HR Operations or HR Generalist experience

2+ years of Business process design and writing business requirements experience

2+ years reporting and data analysis experience

Preferred:

1+ years supporting HR systems

Other:

Strong understanding of business processes and practices

Ability to think critically and analyze data trends to mitigate operational risk and improve efficiencies.

Ability to present and explain processes and reporting to diverse types of audiences

Ability to prepare and present consolidated and succinct reports for Senior Management level decisions

Ability to write clear proposals, project plans and technical documents

Strong understanding of the software development process, including design, requirements gathering, analysis, deployment, testing methodologies, training, change management and production support

Proven knowledge in the areas of operation and analysis of databases, project management and data retrieval methodologies

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment

Ability to effectively interact with a diverse population at all levels within the organization

Advanced customer service, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills

Excellent attention to detail, problem solving, and organization skills

Ability to maintain composure in stressful situations

High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Access)

Advanced MS Excel skills

Experience building and maintaining MS Access databases

Ability to read, write and speak the English language, communicating clearly and effectively

Knowledge of telephony systems, imaging/document management systems, workflow management systems, HR self-service systems and case management and knowledge management systems
