Vaccination Requirement:
Per the December 24, 2021 updated CA State Public Health Officer Order, all workers who provide services or work in facilities described in subdivision (a) of the order, including clinics and doctor offices, must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19. In addition, CDPH Public Health Officer Orders updated on February 22, 2022 requires all workers in health care settings currently eligible for boosters, who provide services or work in the impacted facilities must be “fully vaccinated and boosted” for COVID-19 by March 1, 2022. Workers may be exempt from the vaccination requirements under section (1).

COVID-19 Testing Requirements:
Workers in impacted health care facilities who are not “fully vaccinated and boosted” are required to submit to COVID-19 testing at least twice per week to meet testing requirements.

Vaccination Exemptions:
Upon hire, candidates will be required to submit proof of vaccination including the booster dose or request an exemption from the vaccination and booster requirements based on either religious belief or medical reasons.




1.
Background: Applicants selected for this position must pass a background investigation and medical examination including drug screening.


2.
Training: Training will be provided online and administered at an ARMC and/or County training facility. Applicants will be required to report to the worksite for in-class training for up to 8 hours a day while adhering to COVID-19 safety/social distancing protocols.


3.
License: A valid California Class C driver license and proof of automobile liability insurance is required at time of hire.




Minimum Requirements




Candidates must possess
all
of the following:




License: Must possess and maintain a current license as a Registered Nurse in the State of California.




Certification: Healthcare Provider level Basic Life Support certification issued by the American Heart Association.




Experience:




Option 1:

One (1) year of full-time equivalent experience in direct patient care as a Registered Nurse in an acute care hospital.





OR




Option 2:
Two (2) years of
full-time equivalent
experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute care hospital with experience in performance improvement, quality management and/or patient safety.




Desired Qualifications



The ideal candidate will possess experience in a critical care unit/department (ED, Trauma, OB, or ICU) and patient safety.
