The Shenandoah University School of Health Professions is seeking a qualified candidate to lead and develop a graduate program in Nutrition and Dietetics that meets the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) standards.
The Program Director ‘s primary responsibility will be leadership and management of the program.
This is a career-contract track position at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor, and is a full-time, 12-month faculty position reporting directly to the dean, School of Health Professions.
In addition, faculty within the School of Health Professions are expected to teach within their area of expertise; participate in inter-professional education opportunities; participate in scholarship; and provide service including active participation on program, school and university committees.
Opportunities are provided for professional service and clinical practice.
Visit: https://www.su.edu/health Qualifications for this position include graduation from an ACEND accredited program, minimum of an earned Masters degree, a minimum of three years current clinical experience, eligibility for licensure in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
Three years experience in didactic education and/or clinical precepting is preferred.
