Role Summary :


Responsible for designing, implementing and promoting account level Health Improvement Strategies, and driving customer engagement in our health advocacy programs and capabilities.


Partners with Sales and other matrix associates to respond to complex broker, client and customer inquiries, non-routine problems and ensures client satisfaction with products, benefits and services.


Coordinates with Client Manager to ensure needs are met and potential problems are averted. Keeps Client Manager informed of account status and opportunities for expanded business.


Makes on-site presentations to existing and prospective clients and customers to educate and inform. Attends finalist meetings and is involved in new account installations.


Owns and facilitates the accounts open enrollment strategy. Embodies Customer-Centricity in all activities and projects Cigna as the partner of choice for Clients, Customers and Consultants.


Major Duties : Account Strategy


Account Strategy


Partners with the Client Management team in the development of client-specific strategies and in the pursuit of growth opportunities that will increase penetration in programs that generate revenue for Cigna, including potential sales of ancillary products and strategies to maximize sales and membership growth and retention.


Participates in annual account planning sessions and benefit insight sessions with the CM.


Achieves team and account level business plan objectives, both in support of the implementation of new plans and in identifying and responding to customer needs.


Conduct analysis to identify account opportunities and to recommend strategies that address client-specific needs to improve the team and organizations results.


Handles, refers, or delegates complex questions, issues, and problems to appropriate CHC resources on a wide range of products as they relate to the assigned book of business.


Serves as SME to clients on products, programs and capabilities.


Refers client service issues, administrative functions, eligibility / claim issues, billing questions, installation matters, and settlement production matters to appropriate service organization representatives (Client Advocacy Team (Client Service Executive), Customer Service Claim and Call Centers, etc.

Partner with Client Manager and Service Operations Customer Advocacy Team to proactively educate and provide recommendations to clients and customers regarding procedural, legislative and other changes affecting them.


Supports the achievement of customer-specific performance guarantees.


Identify internal procedures that adversely affect customer satisfaction and drive improvements in concert with internal resources.


Participates in finalist meetings and account Installation meetings for new and renewing accounts.


Participates in Broker & Community activities to promote Cigna.


Health Improvement Strategy & Engagement Health Promotion, Wellness & Health Advocacy


Develops and implements health improvement strategies, activities and initiatives to increase customer participation in mycigna.


com, Biometrics, Health Assessments and Lifestyle Management programs.


Utilizes account level consultative analytics to promote Cigna's health advocacy programs that support clinical intervention and promote health risk reduction.


Drives membership growth directly linked to Client / Customer Health Improvement Strategy


Ensures Clients are receiving maximum potential savings by utilizing health advocacy programs and promoting preventive care.


Conduct on-site wellness presentations to existing and prospective clients and customers to educate and influence Cigna products, programs and capabilities.


Engages and advises Customers in achieving better health through decisions and program participation.


Qualifications :


This position is based in our Dallas, TX market. Selected candidate must be able to travel in the greater Dallas area (30-35% overall travel requirement).


2 or more years preferred experience in client facing, corporate health promotion program design


Proficient oral and written communication skills


Possess problem solving and analytical skills; attention to detail and proven ability to manage set timelines



Proven ability to function in a heavily matrixed environment


Possess knowledge of Excel, Word and PowerPoint


Proven ability to present in group setting with technology platforms (Cisco Web Ex, WebEx Meeting applications)


Must be willing to travel to local and remote clients / customers and trainings / meetings as needed (30-35%); overnight travel may be required; markets may vary
