Your Role & Key Responsibilities
We are looking for an experienced demand planner who has a very strong growth mindset and a can-do culture of doing what it takes to win. We're looking for someone who thrives in balancing brand, consumer, customers, with the ambition to deliver a substantial step up in profitable growth of the current perimeter.
As the Demand Planner, you will play a crucial role in the S&OP process, ensuring that you are supporting the commercial strategy and vision through the delivery of an accurate SKU/channel level forecast taking into account information from key stakeholders (Commercial, Finance, Marketing).
Your Key Responsibilities
- E2E execution of Demand Planning Team Strategy
- Support collaboration with CD, Marketing, Finance to incorporate key marketing and trade initiatives into the demand forecast
- Leads S&OP, Forecasting and Promotion Planning to ensure all departments are aligned to business plan as well as challenging assumptions
- Defines and develops Unconstrained Forecast into the business plans including innovation , promotion and growth assumptions
- Responsible to deliver excellent service to all our customers
- Owns and monitors Forecast Accuracy , Forecast Bias reporting and continuous improvement of Service Levels, Stocks, Waste , FA/FB
- Works closely with Planning Control Tower teams for planning activities
- Works closely with Supply planning counterparts to ensure proper levels of inventory to achieve the plan while ensuring inventory targets are still being met
- Support process hygiene and lead technology transformation where relevant ?
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university, preferably in business, finance or supply chain management.
- 3-5 years of experience in Planning
- Demonstrated analytical and conceptual problem-solving ability; excellent oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills
- Ability to multi-task, meet tight deadlines and work under pressure with autonomy
- The ability to effectively lead and engage cross functional global teams and a willingness to take responsibility and accountability
- Demonstrated self-starter with the ability to deliver results in a lean, agile organization and able to adapt to changing priorities
- Experience working with statistical forecasting software, operational experience of Demantra a plus
- Advanced Excel Skills
- Experience with SQL and/or PowerBI a plus
