Your Role:


The Account Executive at Baxter Respiratory Health is primarily responsible for selling Respiratory Health products to clients outside the hospital including physician offices, clinics, home care and long-term care facilities, etc. Additionally,  the Account Executive is responsible for working collaboratively with internal partners, developing, and implementing comprehensive strategic territory sales plans for all Baxter Respiratory Health products, programs, and services. This  position manages both clinical and financial aspects of the account to provide ultimate customer satisfaction.

HOMEBASE: Southern California
TERRITORY: San Jose, CA, Modesto, Merced, Monterey

What You'll Do

  • Meet, if not exceed sales quotas
  • Develop and implement a territory business plan and sales strategy
  • Explore and close new business opportunities
  • Communicate  Baxter’s competitive differentiation to enhance sales and convert competitive accounts
  • Effectively utilize and coordinate internal/external resources to achieve sales and territory goals
  • Complete company reports, plans and projects in accordance with company standards and expected deadlines
  • Conduct effective and ongoing communications with all Baxter internal and external customers
  • Understand and comply with company and regulatory/compliance policies and procedures
  • Stay within company budget guidelines with business expenses
     

What You'll Bring

  • B.S./B.A. or equivalent related work experience required
  • 2-5 years demonstrated experience as a top-level sales performer in the medical device or healthcare industry or as a  healthcare leader in a clinical environment
  • Experience in negotiating and closing new business and/or budgeting
  • Demonstrated strategic selling skills (strategy development and execution)
  • Exceptional written, verbal and interpersonal communication and presentation skills
  • Outstanding planning and organization skills
  • Strong analytical problem-solving skills and computer aptitude
  • Understanding of field sales
  • Ability to travel as needed
  • Valid driver’s license required
  • Ability to lift up to 40 - 50 lbs
  • Clinical experience in a Respiratory environment a plus
