Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

• Performing on-going monitoring of job conditions and equipment resources and reporting observations and recommendations to supervisors
• Serving as a confined space attendant
• In emergency situations, assisting in supporting the rescue team, maintaining log of atmospheric monitoring and entrants
• Performing (if necessary) non entry rescue
• Rendering first aid and CPR as applicable
• Conducting general air quality monitoring, as applicable
• Adhere to MTS policies and procedures as well as our customers’ policies, procedures, and site requirements.
• Use of or even bringing electronic devises into a customers’ facility may be strictly prohibited. An example of such devises includes cellular phones, tablets, and computers
• Assists with special projects as assigned

Position Requirements:

• The ideal candidate would have some level of experience in Emergency Services (Police, Fire, EMS) or in the constructions trades
• High school diploma or GED
• Current/valid driver’s license
• Successful completion of drug and background screens

Physical Requirements:

• May be required to work near confined spaces, at heights during cold and hot temperature conditions
• Must be physically capable of lifting or moving equipment up to 50 pounds
• Able to walk over long distances in PPE
• Able to stand for a prolong periods of time
• Able to kneel, crouch or crawl
• Excellent vision and hearing; ability to discern colors
