Athletics Assistant Job Posting Announcement
Compensation: $15/hr.
Division: BCRP- Recreation Bureau
Hire Up is a paid work experience opportunity.
- 6 months, with paid job readiness training
- Includes supportive services and job placement assistance
- Work with city agencies and nonprofit organizations
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Greet and register guests; provide general customer service (answer phones, greet guests, provide facility information)
- Oversees games to ensure good sportsmanship and fair play is observed; enforces safety regulations
- Investigates protested games; resolves dispute on basis of established regulations
- Maintains records and compiles statistics
- May serves a field director for tournaments and special events; may assist with coordinating activities of teams competing in national tournament games; assist with Organizing and overseeing amateur sports events, tournaments and games
- Performs related work as required
