Responsible for activities related to communicable disease surveillance & reporting as well as data collection and analysis. Under direction of the Director, will be responsible to perform a variety of professional tasks related to the identification, investigation, & assessment of communicable diseases.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in the Social Sciences, Physical Science, Public Health, Nursing. Pertinent professional exp in the public health field may be substituted for the above requirement (2yrs experience = 1yr education) OR RN with 3yrs Public Health experience. Must complete certification from IDPH for STD & HIV Counseling within 1yr. Valid IL Drivers License, proof of auto insurance & reliable transportation.
