Hair Stylist Job Description

Our hairstylists provide a variety of haircare services and help to ensure exemplary guest service standards. Karvid Partners II LLC endeavors to provide all customers with an excellent salon experience each time they visit by providing informative consultations, outstanding service, and the knowledge to duplicate their desired look at home.

Hairstylist duties

• Maintain current cosmetology or barber’s license.
• Provide quality haircuts, styling, color, waxing, Tea Tree Experience, beard trims, bang trims, and any other service that is offered by the salon.
• Consult with customers and follow excellent professional technique in delivering all services. Be cheerful, professional, and service-oriented in dealing with salon guests.
• Educate guests and recommend products to help them maintain the hairstyle they want between salon visits.
• Be on time or early for scheduled shifts. Notify the manager before shift in case of absence.
• Hold a salon key and be responsible for opening and closing the salon, as needed.
• Adhere to the dress code laid out in the Employee Handbook and Operations Manual for your brand.
• Attend and participate in all required technical and non-technical training sessions.
• Work collaboratively with co-workers and management staff.
• Answer the phone and check in guests, as needed.

**Cosmetology or Barber’s License required.**
