Quality Assurance Manager

As we continue to fulfill this mission, we are searching for an outstanding Quality Assurance Manager to join our corporate offices in Miami, FL.

The Quality Assurance (QA) Manager will oversee the activity of the QA department and staff, including but not limited to the development, implementation, and maintenance of a system of quality and reliability testing for the organization's products and development processes. Please note: The candidate for this position must have experience with manual and automated testing on software.

The following are the responsibilities that will need to be managed effectively on a daily basis:

• Lead software testing - Plan, conduct, and monitor testing, including the inspection of products to ensure their quality
• Thoroughly analyzing data to find the areas of growth and opportunity
• Monitoring of all operations that affect quality
• Facilitation of proactive solutions by collecting and analyzing quality data
• Developing quality assurance plans by conducting hazard analysis and monitoring procedures

The following are the requirements that the ideal candidate will bring to the relationship:

• Strong relevant experience in quality inspection, auditing, and testing is highly preferred
• Strong verifiable experience in implementing corrective/preventive measures
• The ability to negotiate and make strong, informed cases for why a requirement should be a certain way or why something is defective
• Able to discern their audience (developers, project managers, product owners, etc.) and adjust communication as needed
• A strong ability to adjust according to the mindset and understanding of how developers, product owners and users view the product
• Possessing a comprehensive understanding of how software development works outside of just their QA role
• Understanding and believing in our vision as a company
• This QA manager, ideally would be located in Miami or somewhere in South Florida, so they could move to the office, twice a month
