seeks applicants for the following:
Residential Support Staff
Full-time w/excellent benefits
RACS is currently seeking a motivated, qualified individual to work in one of our area residential group homes located in Rockbridge and Bath Counties. RACS will provide training, supervision and education opportunities specific to the position.
DUTIES: Requires direct care assistance to individuals in group home settings serving adults with developmental disabilities. Essential functions of the position include providing supervision/assistance/training in daily living skills; requires assistance with recreational opportunities, daily documentation, administration/monitoring of medications, light housekeeping and the use of a personal computer.
QUALIFICATIONS: High school graduate with experience working with people with disabilities preferred. CNA experience desired but not required. Excellent communication, computer, documentation, and organizational skills. Must be energetic, positive, enthusiastic and able to solve routine problems and adapt well to change; must possess a valid Virginia driver's license and maintain a safe driving record per RACS policy.
