Technical Trainer – Access/Intrusion

The Access/Intrusion Solutions trainer provides technical training to customers and end users both remotely and at Bosch Training Centers and other regional sites, as necessary, in support of Bosch business needs.

The ideal candidate will have the ability to connect with their audience, build trusting relationships, use innovative technology, story-telling, and purposed disruption to engage, entertain, and delight our customers. Must practice effective organization, time management, class management, and problem-solving skills.

Principal Responsibilities

• 
  Provides Intrusion and Access technical training solutions to internal, external, and end users. Trainings will be conducted remotely via MS Teams or at Bosch Training Centers or other regional and possibly global customer sites in support of Bosch business objectives.

• 
  Provides accurate technical product education and assessments on the complete portfolio of Bosch Access and Intrusion security products.

• 
  Responsible for all assigned travel arrangements, class management, maintenance of training content and equipment, training delivery center/lab preparations and timely reports of training results to students, department manager, and departmental assistants.

• 
  Assists in the design, innovation, and updates of training programs or materials.

• 
  Participates as an SME in the testing process through test review and analysis, test witnessing, and certification of products.

• 
  Requires ability to troubleshoot and develop technical solutions based on application and specific customer needs.

• 
  May support other educational customer events such as tradeshows, sales academies, product launch roadshows, marketing promotions, etc.

• 
  Must be proficient in Windows OS, IP Networking, Microsoft Teams, Office Suite, and online presentation.

• 
  Has an aggressive determination to succeed, model work ethic, and ability to work independently as well as with others.

• 
  Must demonstrate excellent presentation, verbal, and written skills in English (Multi-lingual a plus), and professional representation with a strong desire to educate and help others succeed.

• 
  Work from home, up to 60% travel, including international, may be required.

• 
  Other continuous improvement training related projects as assigned.

Education:

• B.S. degree or equivalent security industry experience is required.

Preferred Experience:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in the security industry and a minimum
• 
  1 year of technical training/adult education experience or combined educational/training/sales/customer service experience, preferably with Access and Intrusion products.
• 
  Experience with virtual classroom delivery and instructional design tools such as Adobe Captivate, Articulate, Camtasia desired. Experience with an LMS, along with certification in training delivery such as CTDP, CPLP, CPT or similar, and Bosch security products and management software products knowledge is also preferred, but not required.

• Must be willing and able to travel both within the US and Internationally.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to lift, push and pull up to 70 lbs., meet demands required with travel, and must be able to speak, sit, and/or stand for extended periods of time.
