Athletics - Intermediate School Head Girls Lacrosse Coach

Job Details Job Location The Potomac School - McLean, VA Position Type Seasonal Description The Potomac School Athletic Department is looking to hire a qualified Intermediate School Head Girls Lacrosse Coach. This is a part-time, seasonal position, paid through a stipend and is not benefit eligible. The person in this role will be working with student athletes in an environment where academic expectations are high. Practices run on Mondays, Tuesday, Thursdays and Fridays from 2:00-3:15 PM. Games start at 2:45 on weekdays. The team will play between 8-10 games and on away game days the team will be back on campus by 5 pm. The season runs from Monday, February 27th through Friday, June 2nd. As a connected K-12 learning community, Potomac offers many exciting advantages. Key Responsibilities: Guide the personal development of each student-athlete on the roster.Organize, communicate, and execute daily practice plans.Prepare and condition athletes.Lead game day equipment preparations and set upCoordinate with Athletics to create social media contentPerform other duties as assigned. Qualifications: College degree preferredCoaching and playing experience preferredWillingness to attend professional development workshops.
