Experienced Epic Clin Doc and Procedure Orders certified analysts will join SSM s IHT Nursing Procedural team to support clinic staff in outpatient procedural/surgical specialties and hospital surgical, perioperative, endoscopy, and therapy service lines. The team has experience across various Epic clinical applications such as Optime, Ambulatory, Radiant, Orders, Clin Doc, and Reporting applications. We support day to day operational needs, clinical program initiatives, and complete system enhancements and optimization work. Applicants need to have experience maintaining a live system s Epic needs; for this position we are specifically looking for someone with Clin Doc and Procedure Orders experience; Order Transmittal and experience supporting Therapies (PT/OT/SLP) a plus!

Configures, implements, supports and maintains applications and technical integrations to meet the needs of the organization. Acts as a consultant on moderate to complex application and data integration issues. Serves as a coordinator and customer service representative between business operations, information technology, leadership, system users and vendors.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoots and resolves complex application issues and provides end user support.
  • Monitors applications for issues in connection with maintenance, upgrades and implementations.
  • Assists in performing business process design, reengineering and documentation for new technology.
  • Interprets internal and external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes, or services.
  • May lead functional teams or projects with moderate resource requirements, risk and/or complexity.
  • Assists others in solving complex problems; uses sophisticated analytical thought to exercise judgement and identify innovative solutions.
  • Impacts the achievement of customer, operational, project, or service with large scale objectives; work is guided by functional policies.
  • Communicates difficult concepts and negotiates with others to adopt a different point of view.
  • Use awareness of department and system initiatives and drives decision making while maintaining a positive relationship with the customer.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent years of experience and education

  • Five years' experience
Physical Requirements
  • Frequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs.
  • Frequent sitting, standing, walking, reaching and repetitive foot/leg and hand/arm movements.
  • Frequent use of vision and depth perception for distances near (20 inches or less) and far (20 feet or more) and to identify and distinguish colors.
  • Frequent use of hearing and speech to share information through oral communication. Ability to hear alarms, malfunctioning machinery, etc.
  • Frequent keyboard use/data entry.
  • Occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, twisting and gripping.
  • Occasional lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 25-50 lbs.
  • Rare climbing.
