As a seasoned leader, the Manufacturing Manager Project Management will lead team members in a dynamic environment to execute the manufacturing content of programs associated with mechanical/electrical/optical products for Undersea Systems. Youll also identify, analyze and monitor scope changes to include documenting and communicating any cost, schedule or risk impact, as well as generate and monitor budgets, schedules, earned value, and staffing requirements and lead teams in resolving business related issues. What your typical responsibilities include:. Develop/review/approve manufacturing inputs on proposals (cost estimating). Oversee inputs to integrated master schedules for manufacturing tasks. Lead team in defining deliverables and due dates to support accurate demand loading in ERP system. Support and participate in reviews, investigations, and corrective actions to achieve cost, quality, and schedule program performance goals. Provide estimate-to-complete information for in-process programs. Maintain overall workload forecast information. Support and participate in communicating status of programs with customers and senior/executive leadership across multiple functions. Champion a high performance, collaborative, continuous improvement culture. Lead employee development and performance management of team members. Contribute to the strategic planning and execution of the plan for the manufacturing organization. Conduct factory tours and participate in visits for new business as well as existing business What you bring to the table:. Exceptional demonstration of leadership and project management skills. Ability to motivate team to develop innovative ideas resolving business or project related issues. Experience working in a manufacturing environment with an understanding of the full product lifecycle. Capable of understanding complex products and high-tech manufacturing processes. Knowledge with government contracts for products, work breakdown structures, and earned value management. Strong understanding of basic philosophy of program schedules, risk areas, slack time, and critical paths. Strong aptitude to implement changes and monitor the effectiveness of changes based on cost and schedule impact. Ability to stay calm and encourage that in others during stressful situations. Strong ability to understand and analyze project financial data. Exceptional communication and presentation skills. Proficiency in the use of an ERP Mfg System and MS Office (Project, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word) What sets you apart:.
